R&W Concrete Contractors, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Abel J. (Rod) Rodrigues and Lavera (Sandy) Rodrigues.
R&W Concrete Contractors, Inc. initially specialized in concrete flatwork and site work, and worked primarily in the Bay Area with such high profile projects as the San Francisco Cable Car renovation, and the Moscone Convention Center expansion.
In 1987, son Brian Rodrigues joined the firm, and in 1990 Brian began running the company. In 1994, the company made a change in their primary business plan, and began focusing on structural concrete as their primary scope of work.
In 1998, Marcos Hernandez joined the company and brought his expertise on board, and the company began doing larger and more high profile heavy civil structural projects, and expanded work sites from the Bay Area to all over Northern California.
Lynne Rangel and Irene Flores joined the company soon after as key members of the team, with Lynne overseeing all financial operations, and Irene managing the office. Britney Sandoval joined the office team in 2016, and helps with day to day tasks.
Family, teamwork and loyalty have been a major factor in the success of R&W Concrete, and this is very evident in both the office and in the field.
Lead by Marcos Hernandez, general foremen Sam Deng, Abelardo Vega, Yi Wang, Bobby Arreola, Rodrigo Ceja, Sam Cruz and Jose Carsola run and build the companies largest projects, and oversee many talented crew members.
J.C. Casillas and Moises Rico assist in the field and make the yard, warehouse, and field operations all run smoothly.
